Butte County NAMI offers Family-to-Family Education Program
The Butte County chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is offering a 12-week course to assist family caregivers of people with severe mental illnesses that began Feb. 21.
NAMI’s Family-to-Family Education program is held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Enloe Medical Center conference room on Wednesdays. For more information or to reserve a spot in the class, phone or email Mary at 530-518-7983 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Instruction covers various mental illnesses and provides up-to-date information on medications and research.
The course is taught by trained family members of individuals with mental illnesses. All instruction and course materials are free to class participants.
