The Chico-based North Valley Community Foundation has opened two funds following the June 22 shooting at the Chico branch of the Butte County Library. One fund supports the family of Jacob “Cody” Hull and the young girl he was co-parenting, who was with Hull at the time of the shooting and was injured while fleeing. The second fund will be used to build a memorial at the library in memory of Robert Johnson and will provide funds to support the library.
