The Chico City Council will discuss next steps after the Warren v. Chico Settlement Agreement expires in January 2027 at the May 19 meeting. The panel will hear a staff report on the matter, and Assistant City Manager Erik Gustafson will ask for direction on several options, such as the development of a Service Resistant Team to “address repeated service resistant individuals.”
The Council will also consider a resolution to adopt a new city budget. The Council meets at 6 p.m. in the chamber at 421 Main St., Chico.
