Elias S. Myers

Chris Hutton holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from California State University, Chico. He served as managing editor on Chico State's The Orion and freelanced for local news outlets. Hutton's news and arts and culture coverage have been recognized with awards, and he is an Associated Collegiate Press finalist for Reporter of the Year. Hutton says he spends his birthdays rock-climbing in the mornings and working on stories in the afternoons.

Elias S. Myers studied history at the University of California, Berkeley. At Cal, he was the editor-in-chief of the Berkeley Political Review, the nation’s largest collegiate political newsroom at a public university. He is interested in surveillance and artificial intelligence. Myers can be found walking around Chico's Barber Neighborhood, thinking about the show Seinfeld or fixing his bike or his 2003 Gen One Prius.
