The race for California governor will be between Xavier Becerra, a former Health and Human Services secretary, and Steve Hilton, a former Fox News host endorsed by President Trump.
Statewide unofficial results show Becerra garnered almost 28% of the vote; Hilton, 25%; and Democrat Tom Steyer, who has conceded, 22.5%. But interestingly, Butte County voter counts are looking a little different.
The Butte County Clerk-Recorder unofficial count on June 9 showed Hilton with almost 31 percent of the vote, followed by Steyer, who has 19%. Republican Chad Bianco is third and Becerra fourth.
