The Chico City Council will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 22 to discuss the Automated License Plate Reader data sharing exposed by ChicoSol here. Chico PD shared the data with out-of-state and federal agencies until July 8; such sharing likely violates California law.
City Clerk Debbie Presson said in an email that the Council has full agendas next month and a special meeting is needed.
