Butte Environmental Council’s (BEC) recent Extreme Heat Preparedness Workshop provided information on what to do before, during and following an extreme heat event.
The workshop was held at the South Chico Community Assistance Center July 15 and was part of BEC’s ‘Beat the Heat’ series. Workshop leaders Chela Barron and Fernando Trujillo were from the California Climate Action Corps. — Karen Laslo
